About The Project

Because The Nature Island has so many stories, Discover Dominica through an interactive journey we’ve created where you can pick your experience! There will be a series of menus which pop up throughout the film where you will have a limited amount of time to click when prompted. If you don’t pick, a random experience will be selected for you. We hope you have as much fun exploring this film as we did creating it.

For the best user experience and resolution, view the film on your desktop or laptop.
If you’re viewing on mobile devices, please download the free app when prompted to get ready for your one of a kind travel experience.

The Team

About Kristen Kellogg: I prioritize plane tickets over a mortgage, as I find myself happiest when I’m living out of a backpack or two. I’m proud to call Nantucket my anchor, at least 6 months a year. And as for the others? You’ll find me roaming the globe in search of my next-big-film-thing. Border Free Travels is a melting-pot of what I’m most passionate about and an extension of the life I strive to live. Experiential adventures bound with words and film, I hope to inspire others to find motivation and inspiration in their own lives through their own unique passions.

About Katie Kaizer: Katie is a photographer specializing in weddings, portraits and travel stories with an uncanny eye for those once in a lifetime shots. Katie grew up traveling with her parents and they always landed off the beaten path. She took up photography in high school and hasn’t put down a camera since. After living in a rural and very local part of Jamaica she realized her true passion was to push herself outside of her comfort zone while telling the story of a different culture. In the winter and ‘off season’ Katie seeks adventure and tells stories through her lens. Katie loves meeting people and telling their stories. Katie has endless energy and she channels it through her photography. Katie has often been dubbed the ‘happy photographer’ as she loves highlighting positive moments and creating portraits of a place through getting to know the people and their culture. During a shoot, she follows the moments and interactions that connect her subjects together.
