About The Project

Ahoy! (pirate for Aloha!)

My name is Alison Teal, I’m kinda like a female Indiana Jones and in my Alison’s Adventures online film series you can journey with me to exotic and mysterious cultures around the world!

For my latest adventure, I set off to the island of Dominic, a magical island in the Caribbean, to satisfy inner pirate and explore a real life Disneyland. Dominica Island, film location of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3, is the most mountainous island in the Caribbean with 365 rivers, countless waterfalls, volcanic hot springs, world class diving – not to mention abundant wild life – whales and dolphin and parrots OH MY!

Here is my Dominica Bucket list …grab your passport and get ready to Discover Dominica!

About Sarah Lee: An islander at heart, I probably couldn’t live more than 10 miles from the coastline. I grew up on the Big Island of Hawai’i. My natural curiosity led me to explore a lot of the island – particularly the coastline and underwater world. That’s also how I got into photography – I yearned to share my island explorations and experience with others and entice my friends to come along on the next adventure. I am overly excited and curious to experience what Dominica has to offer, how their culture is similar and different to that of the Hawaiian islands, and what new and stunning things I can capture with my camera to share with others. Thanks to the onset of social media, it has become easier to share these epic moments, places, and experiences with friends and followers around the world and entice them to visit these beautiful places.

About Alison Teal: When I was two months old, my parents took me skiing on Ausangate, the highest peak in Southern Peru, and since then my life has been a continues whirlwind of high adventure; I have explored and lived in the most remote, strange, colorful, and bizarre corners of this planet and gotten to know, like and become friends with all manner of indigenous people, and by doing so become part of an ever growing global family. Recently, I starred in “Naked and Afraid,” Discovery Channel’s highest rated series of 2013, and most-watched show in the network’s history. On “The Island from Hell” I survived for 21 days on a deserted island in the Maldives and earned the highest PSR (Primitive Survival Rating) of season one. I decided to combine my love for filmmaking, acting, and exploration and create a new media storytelling series, to share my adventures through films, photos, and inspirational speaking. And now, like a female version of “Indiana Jones” – with a camera and a pink surfboard – I journey into ancient cultures to share global secrets of survival, sustainability, and happiness through unique style of storytelling guided by my voice over and the wild characters I meet along the way.
